Challenge: Add “splash” to a kitchen with a beachy look

Solution: For a home located right on Lake Michigan, the customer wanted a light, beachy look in their kitchen. Exceed designers found sea glass pebbles, meshed on a 12” x 12" sheet, and had their installer cut a "wave" pattern through hand-molded, white field tile. The installer then removed the pebbles from their mesh backing and placed them in the "wave" space in between the cut tiles. The customer is crazy about the finished look.
